History and Mission

Brief History
The credit union was chartered August 2, 1929 as The Hutchinson Federal Employees Credit Union.  The credit union initially served those employed by the post office.  In 2007, the board of directors voted to open the membership to anyone who lives or works in Reno County.   In order to reflect the expansion of our membership, we changed the credit union name to Hutchinson Postal & Community Credit Union. We look forward to helping the community with their financial needs.

Mission Statement
To provide high quality financial services for our members, enhancing their financial well being while maintaining the financial strength of the credit union.

We make every effort to keep our operating costs to a reasonable level so that we can provide our members with competitive dividend rates and lower loan rates.  Our main priority is our members, not profits.
